How we test & evaluate products

The goal of our guides is to help you choose a product that fits your home and constraints (space, pets, noise tolerance, cleaning routine) — and to avoid surprises after purchase.

Our evaluation checklist

Depending on the category (robot vacuum, airfryer, coffee machine), we typically focus on:

Performance: core job quality (cleaning / cooking / extraction), consistency, edge cases.
Maintenance: filters, brushes, descaling, consumables, availability of parts.
Usability: setup, app UX, daily workflow, error messages, accessibility.
Noise & comfort: acceptable levels for apartments / night routines.
Reliability signals: recurring issues reported by users, warranty terms, known limitations.
Total cost: consumables + subscriptions (if any), not just sticker price.

What we do (and don’t) claim

We aim to be transparent about what comes from official specs, manuals, and documentation vs. what comes from aggregated feedback. If we don’t have high confidence, we say so.

Always verify safety instructions and exact specs in the official manual — especially for electrical appliances and batteries.
